Dear Coaches, Team Managers and Board members of LDSA,



I'd like to inform you of a change in a club officer position that has occurred recently.  On Sunday, June 27th a Board meeting was called to address the resignation of Steve Mizak as President.  Steve offered his resignation as a result of several issues.  The Board voted unanimously to accept Steve's resignation.  



It should be noted that Steve has served the club well as President for the past three years and introduced several key changes to make LDSA a better club.  We will continue to refine those changes as we move forward in 2010.  



As an interim measure for the remainder of this year, I have been asked and accepted the challenge of being LDSA President again.  For those who have been around for some time you might remember that I was President of this club for 13 years from 1993 until 2005.  I still remember how difficult and time consuming this job is and will again need the help and support of our vast group of volunteers to make it work.  We are only a few weeks away from the start of a new age group, always the busiest time of year for team preparation (uniforms, registration, player passes, tournaments, practice plans, training plans, league schedules).  Please help get things started well by doing your "job", yep it's a job but hopefully a really fun and rewarding one.  Contact appropriate leaders if you have issues or questions.
